Everybody Clap

Clap for my friend Tamara's new Clapotis. I told her it needed to be blocked and she said she wasn't gonna do it, so I offered and she let me. I also got to drop a few of rows and weave in the ends to finish it. I have a secret cold water bath I use. Palmolive's Lavendar and Ylang Ylang, a few drops of "NOW Vitamins" eucalyptus oil and a couple more of ylang ylang and you have a moth/bug proof item. I let it soak for about 30 minutes and rinse replenishing the lavendar (NOW also), eucalyptus, and ylang ylang. It smells so nice. the ylang ylang really cuts the medicinal smell of the lavendar and eucalyptus.

Tamara made the Clapotis out of some Brook's Farm Yarn she got up at Estes Park. You can see the size by the length of the twin size bed I blocked it on, yep, it was the full length. The color is a heavenly blues jean with a touch of teal. It is soft, perfectly drapey, and has a very nice haze of fuzziness. Great job Tam, can I please wear it sometime?

That is such a great idea, about the essential oils, but I have never heard of the Palmolive with lavendar. Your friend made a beautiful Clapoits
