Second to last clue

I had a great weekend! May, spring, the start of things, a time to celebrate! I want to inform all, my surprise contest will officially end Friday, May 25, and I will announce any and all winners the following Monday!

Hubby took me out to eat for soup (hot and sour, for him, wonton for me) Saturday nite at P.F. Chang's, the bowls are enormous, we took some home!
My children all called me Sunday to wish me a Happy Mother's Day! Then we went to China Taipei for lunch and off to the nursery for gardening. I knew ther rule was it's okay to plant after Mother's Day, but I did not expect the parking lot to be packed! I have never seen so many persons purchasing garden plants and such. Hubby picked the veggies and I picked some perennials. I saw these awesome green pots. There were many more green pots and other colored pots, the green ones fascinated me the most . After church we did dinner at Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger and they served us just too much food! Sunday night we saw the end of Masterpiece Theater's presentation of Charles Dicken's Bleak House. MT is my fav program on the tube, I love classics and look down at all the other junk out there.

I went to a nice group last Saturday, the Rocky Mountain Crazy Quilters and here's a great site via their website Pretty Impressive Stuff. So, what did we do at the meeting? We learned how to emboss velvet. A member, Antonia Florese taught us the technique and we embossed from stamps, lace, antique stamping blocks, it was so fun and easy. I did ferns, grecian vase, antique map, dragon fly. I had a vintage velvet gown I cut the hem off and it stamped very nice. It was a fun productive morning.

I can't wait for the contest to end. It has been fun and I have looked forward to giving clues and responses! The clue is hidden above, again. I have some nice presents, some handmade, some not. Please join me in the fun! I have been posting clues on the previous four Monday's if you are interested, I am having a surprise contest! Besides posting, please email me, so I can properly respond to any correct answers. My address is above at the top of the right hand column.

I am more lost with each clue-I am assuming and you know what assumptions do-the varied mediums used for art.

I love the green pots! Our local nursery has had some glazed pots, but none as pretty as those.

Is there a new baby coming that you are preparing for? Celebration, new starts, inspiration, originality, "well with your soul"... all that makes me think that maybe there is a grandbaby or other baby on the way???? Liza (elizagmoore@yahoo.com)
